The Best of It All

The bridesmaids are walking down the isle, the crowd in the pews are turned in their seats waiting for that perfect moment when the bride first appears and she walks down the isle in her perfectly fitted dress looking more stunning than on any other day. The groom sees her enter and his face lights up as he sees his bride approaching. As the crowd gazes on while the bride arrives to meet the love of her life, their hands touch for one of the last moments before their lives are forever changed.

The chapel grows quiet as the vows are exchanged and the couple is brought together as one family. The kiss was perfect and the ceremony went off without a hitch. The chapel soon clears and the crowd gathers outside those great white doors to welcome the new couple into the world. They begin their exit, the crown cheers them as they step through the doors into the light of day. The crowd is full of smiling faces and the rice is thrown high into the air as the bride and groom make their way down the chapels steps. They are overwhelmed by hugs and congratulations from friends and family. The limo awaits with cans and streamers trailing behind it. The door is opened and the couple slides in to begin their journey to their reception hall.

As the limo arrives the crowd is poised with cameras, hugs, and handshakes, the music begins and the night is off to an amazing start. The bride and her father share a dance and the festivities pause and they circle the dance floor. The crowd looking on as the music plays. The rotation of couples around them fall off the dance floor leaving them to their first dance as husband and wife.

The drinks are poured, the toasts are great, and the food fills the air with just the right smells. The bride throws her bouquet and the groom tosses the guarder. The best man hugs his best friend goodbye and the maid of honor wipes her tears and wishes her friend well, on her magical journeys ahead.

These are simply a few of the moments I've experienced as a wedding photographer. They are in my work, in my portfolio, and something I treasure not only for my clients, but for myself. Your moments are just as important to me as they are to you. It's my job to capture each moment from start to finish and I've been there, I've watched these amazing events on more than four dozen occasions and keep every image as a memory of my great experience watching two people find love and happiness with someone else.
